How it works
From a list of kit to a written record
PAT testing covers portable appliances, not the fixed wiring. We inspect and test what is on site, mark what failed, and leave a record you can show a client, a landlord or an insurer.

A rough count of the items, the type of site, and the postcode are enough to start. You get a written record of what passed, and a clear note of anything that failed.

Frequently asked questions
They are different jobs. PAT is portable appliances and leads. An EICR is the fixed wiring, and we book and report them separately.
Yes. Even a small set of appliances is worth a proper record. Tell us roughly how many items, the kind of site, and the postcode.
We identify it, mark it as a fail, and leave it off the pass record. You then choose whether it is repaired or taken out of use.
Extension leads are included, along with other portable kit you want recorded. A list of what is on site is enough for us to price the visit.
It depends on the kit and how it is used. Once we have seen what is on site, we will say what looks like a sensible gap before the next test.
